Founder/Chief Visionary Officer
Mr. Pickering received his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Spanish at Tulane University and completed a Master's Degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. He has twelve years of experience teaching Spanish at the high school, middle school, and university level.
Additionally, he held various officer roles in several start-up companies in the sectors of television, renewable energy, management consulting, and education. Mr. Pickering has managed Blaine & González for nine years.
In addition to his duties as President of Blaine & González, Mr. Pickering is a member of the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association. He is the first-ever translator to be a member of this council in the 76-year history of the organization. Mr. Pickering sits on the Tax Reform and Economic Development Committees. The NSBA is a 60,000-member, non-partisan grassroots organization whose purpose is to advance the cause of small business owners all over the USA.
Mr. Nyakuritsika was brought in as President of Blaine & González in July of 2019. As President, Challenge is responsible for the creation and maintenance of high-profile relationships such as hedge fund leaders, high net worth individuals, and high-ranking corporate and government officials all over the world.
Prior to accepting his role in B&G, Mr. Nyakuritsika was responsible for the creation of the strategy that gave birth to the presence of over 100 brand new DHL retail drop zones (truck depots) all across Africa. He worked directly with the Managing Director for Africa; regularly maintained strong client relationships with C-Suite level management and also managed the accounts of high net worth African individuals to ensure their satisfaction.
Challenge has highly honed corporate governance skills that will carry B&G into 2020 and beyond with good governance and a clear vision.
